Troubleshooting

Common setup and source issues, what they usually mean, and what to try next.

AI client issues

The client cannot find my project

Use the exact project name in your prompt. If names are similar, rename the project or ask the client to list available Latently projects first.

The answer has no source detail

Ask the client which Latently source it used. If it cannot name one, ask it to inspect the project manifest before answering.

The connection asks for approval again

The client may have lost or refreshed its authorization. Re-approve the Latently connection from the client flow.

The MCP URL does not work

Use the current MCP server URL from Settings > AI connections. Do not copy URLs from old screenshots or another workspace.

Source issues

A Drive file is missing

Confirm the file was selected for this project and is one of the supported formats. Drive account access and selected-file scope matter.

An uploaded file did not parse

Check that the file type is supported and that the document has extractable text. Scanned PDFs may not provide useful text.

Slack shows no useful messages

Only selected public channels are supported in V0.1. Private, archived, shared, and external shared channels are not selection targets.

A Notion page is missing

Confirm the Notion connection has access to the page or data source, and that the relevant root was selected for the project.

Plan issues

  • -

Free workspaces are limited to one active project.

  • -

Free and Solo workspaces cannot add collaborators.

  • -

Team billing uses at least three seats, even if the workspace currently has fewer active members.

  • -

If a project is locked after a plan change, open billing settings and check the retained project selection.
