Workspace, project, source

Workspace

The billing and membership boundary. Solo workspaces are personal; Team workspaces can include collaborators.

Project

The context boundary for a piece of work. Customer-facing context is scoped to the project an AI client resolves.

Source

A selected file, upload, Notion item, or Slack channel that Latently has processed into readable project context.

AI client

ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Claude Code, or another MCP-capable tool that can request Latently project context after you connect it.

MCP in Latently

MCP is the connection layer that lets an AI client ask Latently what projects exist, inspect a project manifest, and read selected source content when needed.
